Teaching Artist: Makenna Bolton

Audition Tech is a workshop to prepare students for all types of auditions they will encounter in the future. Whether it is singing, acting, or dancing, Makenna has been trained in and done it all. In this workshop you will learn how to properly slate your name, the materials you will need in an audition, how to capture the attention of casting directors when you first walk in the door, and how to prepare for different auditions. Makenna brings her training from AMDA college of the performing arts here to help assist young performers for future endeavors. The workshop will conclude with mock auditions as a performance in singing, acting, and dancing. Whether you plan to continue performing arts in the future or if you are simply interested in learning the knowledge and technique Makenna has to bring, then this workshop is for you.
